Only a native of Piedmont can understand the gentle amusement that accompanies this expression of polite incredulity. And it’s in the same spirit that we make our Marbur Red Ale, a ruby red beer with a cream-coloured head, whose flavour evokes toffee and burnt caramel. The use of caramelised and toasted malts gives this beer a singular sweetness which persists throughout. Meanwhile, hops tone down the sweetness with a delicate and slightly dry bitterness. The great thing about this beer is its delightful drinkability, despite the aromatic complexity of its ingredients.
